Located within the northeastern section of Canada’s Metro Vancouver area, Maple Ridge is a beautiful city that lies between the Fraser River and the Golden Ears, which are a group of beautiful mountain summits. Maple Ridge’s downtown, otherwise known as Haney, is filled with tons of arts and culture, but the beauty and solitude of Maple Ridge’s mountainous landscape is what truly turns a beautiful area into home.

Maple Ridge Restaurants

Maple Ridge is home to some of the most delicious eateries, making the small space as competitive as it is diverse. Whether it bet the lively waterside bar & grill at Kingfishers Waterfront or the cozy atmosphere at GM Restaurant, which is home to the area’s most authentic Indian fare & cheesecake, Maple Ridge is so well rounded that just about everyone’s tastes are covered.

Maple Ridge Arts & Culture

There are several venues that promote performing arts, whether it be acting, writing, or dance, but one of the largest in the Maple Ridge area is the Arts Centre and Theatre (ACT). With modest seating of up to 486 people, the theater hosts some of the best local shows in town. There are also a variety of citywide festivals and annual parades held in the streets of Maple Ridge, some of which include the Jazz and Blues Festival as well as the Caribbean Festival.

Maple Ridge Parks

Maple Ridge is home to some of the world’s most iconic landscape, revealing the most vulnerable elements of nature to its residents, who so kindly devote their lives to caring for the area. If you’d like to experience some of Maple Ridge’s vulnerability, be sure to visit the Golden Ears Provincial Park, which is home to some of the country’s highest mountains and most provincial peaks. For a more residential and relaxed atmosphere, the Wild Play Element Parks is another great park located just off 132nd Avenue.
